Yes... The markets have become completely unpredictable... any attempt to "identify" a trend in the last ...say 2 months or so... have been unsuccessful. The only possible way (if at all), to make money in these markets has become with a very sharp eye, and (to my chagrin), on an intra-day basis. I have been trying to get away from such intraday trading... Holding positions overnight is becoming increasingly dicey... Here is where patience will reward a sharp eye identifying those companies that will survive the current malaise.
