Osprey Your an Exception to the rule as you also play the market and keep up with what is current.Most Sales(Mutual)Will say markets go up and down thats there sight of the market still selling there clients different funds. My Brother-in Law makes 7 Figures per Year selling Mutuals and lives outside Canada for 6 months of the year just collecting his cheque every month.Great Salesman but thats all he is a Salesman.

I have been in the funds business for over 15 years Wow! I guess you've got those monkeys figured out by now.<g> I think there are plenty of legit folks in that business. Finding a combination of legitimacy and competence is the challenge.
