I like both of the stock attack threads, lots of good info and (aside for that one blip of madness that caused the creation of the moderated SA II), a very civil thread.

From what I've been reading, we're either due for another strong downleg or a mother of a bear market rally. How's that for consensus? LOL!

Ah yes, you captured my spirit... read on -GGGG-

I posted that in "humor" yet I did get a couple of responses, for which I was surprised. -gg-

I'm trading much less, and far more conservatively. Looks like you are too, no?

Yes, I am on "quiet mode" in fact, since I have done reasonably "ok" this month and a half, I am considering, going to cash out of some "long term" positions that I have, indeed, some even at a loss. The philosophy behind this consideration is the uncertainty, (very unpredictable), and that I believe that if we were to really go down in a serious way, i would be able to re-position at a lower price...

I have not made my mind on this last part. and I change my mind almost on a daily basis.. again, this is the result of the current environment. Not easy.

Hi Poet, could you post the Hahn web site address when you have a chance? I recall he converted over to a paid site several weeks or months ago.

Bob

Yep, I am hoping both are correct, but in the proper order.

1) Near term re-test of 2250 - I do not care whether it hold or not but a fall to the Jan low is enough to make my PUTs golden
2) Strong rebound off the low (in advance of next FOMC meeting)
3) Then we see if the rally has legs

Looking at Mar 9th to go long
