Guess there are two ways of looking at it. ggg

But.... The fact that job growth is relatively flat in the midst of these layoffs suggest that perhaps certain (high paying jobs perhaps) are in demand while low paying and/or manufactoring jobs and clerical jobs are being lost.

Are smaller companies picking up the employees of the larger companies, while the large companies are paying more to their best employees to keep them?

A tough read. We need more data.
Let's watch the employment numbers, and inflation indicators and see how they change.
