el instructuro,

Will do! Thanks! Will they work with my set up?
The MS Sidewinder Force Feedback II plugs in via a USB jack on my PC...
I'm not sure how an additional set of rudder pedals will work with it...
Right now I use the rudders by twisting the handle of the joystick left or right.
It's pretty cool.
As I accelerate down the runway the handle increases it's movement to simulate the bumpiness.

Today I flew a Cessna from the Dutchess County Airport to the Albuquerque International Sunway (or whatever it's called.) It would have been an 11 hour trip in real time. I was able to speed it up buy running at 32X speed while headed southwest...
It was pretty cool. I left in the late evening, flew mostly at night and the sun came up in time to locate the airport.
The only problem is that I would have run out of gas before getting there...
The game was set to never run out of fuel. I reset the realism so now I will have to be more careful.

I then set a course and flew a Mooney Bravo from Alburquerque to San Francisco. I figured a "Mooney" would be the proper thing to fly around San Fran...<g>

I buzzed the Golden Gate Bridge.

The Mooney Bravo was a cool plane. It had GPS navigation system so that I didn't have to fly by VORs. So easy.
I wonder how much the real Mooney goes for?
I wonder what the Cessnas go for?

The plane even reminded me to put my landing gear down. Ooof! That would have stupid...

Tomorrow I'll try to fly some of the aircraft like the Learjet or the Beech...

It tried 4 times today to get my certification. The last three times I thought I performed everything the instructor wanted perfectly. I can't figure out what I did wrong. He said that I went outside of the flight speed range, but I can swear I was in the green the whole time...
My VORs Navigation and Altitude were good.
I guess I still have some learning to do. Need more hours...

I'm getting much better at landing. Not hitting nearly as hard.
