The Democrat policies and agenda are killing California. Businesses are seeking new headquarters out of the State because of the over regulated and high taxation environment that the liberals have instituted. The citizens of Ca. "enjoy" some of the highest state income tax rates in the country, outrageous car registration rates annually, and numerous state taxes on various bills including telephone, electrical, sewage, etc.

It is time for the Republicans to come in and clean up the state...it has been destroyed by Liberal leadership over the last 30+ years.

The Mercury News lists a Republican called Jim Brulte from Cucamonga as the author of the deregulation bill while he was in the Assembly. He is currently the minority leader of the State Senate. The Democrats listed by the Mercury News have been involved in trying to clean up the mess. They are guilty of not stopping the problem that was started in 1996 by Brults's deregulation bill. I seriously doubt Brulte was authoring a bill for the Democrats. The Democrats also signed the bill so they are guilty also, but it's false to blame it on the Democrats who weren't the majority ruling party at the time of passage.

I'll check quickly if there is a Mercury link online. Right now I am cooking our orphan Sunday dinner. We open up our house to friends and family and acquaintances that have nowhere to go and need someone to talk to .
