Tradelite: I think you misunderstood my post.

What I said was (or meant to say) is that the home-building industry is still extremely strong, with record-setting backlog for NEW home orders. This was what Toll Brothers (TOL) and KBH both reported in their latest earnings and seems to be true across regions.

I did NOT say that existing real estate would continue to appreciate in value and, in the high-end market, expect prices and values to fall sharply later this year. This will be a continuation and extension of the sharp value correction in tech stocks. I expect to see this in areas such as: New York, California, Boston, etc.
