Ish--Yeah, farms are getting bigger, you couldn't be more right about that. And who is working these increasingly large farms? Hired hands, paid minimal wages, not all that different than the poor bastards who were stuck working the nationalized farms in the Soviet Union, who also had no economic interest in the success or failure of the farm. Both are prescriptions for disaster, in my view.... ______________ No, what is happening is the farms are getting bigger. Those that have are buying the land from the small holders. New farmers can't pay the nut to start.
