Flack, be sure to ask me about averaging down on the major hitters in a year.

I do concede it is a terrible idea for some stocks, and anybody who has done it in this market probably has been killed.

I consider it most effective when a good stock hits a snag and drops drastically in price, like emlx several months ago on the false press release.

Of course, as with any stock, you have to bail when the trend changes.

Averaging down success: mrsia did very well averaging down with BA. She rode it from 48 to 30 and then up to almost 70. She then cashed out for the house.
