Kash, How's all going with retirement? In hindsight, I think you got out at the right time. It must be nice, I'm dreaming of it more everyday.... I tend to share your market views. It's nice you haven't got caught up in it and are finding yourself trying to catch falling knives, errr.... big hairy bears. Are you still in REITS? I'm short Crisco since $70 and have built a large position all the way down. Only other position is an INKT long which I'm in at $13-14 and am doing buy-writes on. Rest is cash. Curious what you're investing in..... chic

First of all i think the bad news isnt yet in the market yet. In almost every area there is significant OVERCAPACITY - from semi's to telecom to auto's. Kash, Good to hear from you. I can't argue with you that not all the bad news is priced into the market. You may or may not be right....I don't think anyone knows for sure. It sounds like you are one of those that believes we are in a recession already. Are you? Personally, I think the economic data is still too uneven to support the argument that we are in one. In addition what do you think of E.Ross from Thomas Weisel Partners calling a bottom in some of the semis and semi equipment stocks this past week? Did you read the interview with him that I posted? His call is getting the same reaction that J. Josephthal of SSB got last summer when he called the semi top. Ross is making his call based on info he got while on a trip to Asia this past month. Let me know what you think. ted
