Frankly, I am not a firm believer in FED intervention starting with the rate cutting in OCT 1998. Its speculative, but my opinion is that those rate cuts promoted the bubble in the NAZ. Some will argue that Greenspan had to in light of the defaulting hedge fund/currency issues - well Im in that group that does not agree.
