Ali, Taking into account some mechanical deviations, I guess the difference between the "die surface" temperature (in AMD definition) and the "case surface" should not exceed 3 degrees C. Thanks for the info. I guess it means that the spec for P4 die temperature is 72 + 3 = 75 deg C. Looks like we have P3 1.13 episode waiting to happen again with P4. I wonder what the chances are that the P4 will make it without a serious egg on it's face until Q4 introduction of Northwood (I mean more serious that the initial disappointment with the P4 performance).
