Was that the same kind of "scientific" survey that "proved" rape was a gift from God, PROLIFE? Abortion isn't supposed to be a joyous occasion, no matter what random warped abortion warriors preach in their hate filled diatribes.. It's a tough choice. Bearing a child in difficult circumstances might have negative psychological consequences too. In addition to numerous more tangible negative consequences, about which the embryo liberation front cares not one tiny bit.

Negative psychological side affects? Like sadness? Fear of the lunatics at the clinic? Maybe some of them are moved to evaluate their lives and make changes, but that is not without discomfort. I think you make a very good point here. No one is having abortions cavalierly. They have thought it out, and their reasons are compelling enough for them to move ahead with their decisions nonetheless because they think it is the best CHOICE for themselves, the would be baby, their families. I'd like to see a survey conducted asking if their were any positive psychological side affects to the abortion. I doubt that www.babiesaregiftsfromheaven.com will do that one.
