No, we doubled up on the memory to 256 several months ago. Made certain that it was all compatible Rambus manufacture. Had a good price on it, but I would have to ask my son what site it was purchased form.

The only "change" on the machine in the last several weeks was the addition of SystemWorks, and the more that I think about it the more certain I am that the Speed Disk application created the problem. Too much of a co-incidence; the next time the machine booted up the problem was there.

No big deal. Just won't use that application again. I go through machines about every two years anyway, so it is not necessary. Bookmarked that post for future reference anyway. Thanks.
