It appears we are both agreeing and I was just calling an optical switch an o-o-o optical switch and an electro-optical switch an o-e-o optical switch. I have found that terms in this area are not necessarily standardized-which has made reading articles about this sector and claims made by competing companies rather interesting at times....<g>... cheers
