I see you are as stupid as me up at this hour.
OTOH perhaps I am much stupider, as you could be on the West coast and I am in Chicago.

Good night.

There has also been a large flight to quality. See how the "boring" stocks of the DOW have done perfectly well lately. My family's broker for instance recently sold some techs and moved into defence stocks. That sort of thing has been going on since November or so, defence, drugs, consumer stocks, retail, Baby Bells, oil and gas, etc. These stocks have all done pretty well lately. At the direct expense of techs I'm sure. But the cash is still there, in the markets, funds and more and more on the sidelines as well. And always remember the big-big profits are made buying at the bottom and just waiting for things to flip back around even if this takes a year or more. Therefore expect continued bargain-hunting in techs as they scrape bottom. I've been watching ERICY for instance after I read a detailed analysis from a bear stating that the stock was worth only $9 in a slowdown. Well that's where it's selling now down from $12+ - 20+ range. The bottom? More or less probably.
