I agree completely -- there definitely is an inconsistency, if not hypocrisy, between mareketing promotions and what George Gilder actually says himself. In addition to the buried disclaimers, etc., I have also heard him speak in person and asked questions from the audience and post presentation, and on those public occasions, he says his focus is on the technology, not market timing or equity valuations per se, etc. I have found his technology analysis very informative, interesting and thought provoking. I believe he is in fact an excellent technology futurist but I don't believe he in fact considers valuations per se. Caveat emptor.
