Greetings!

I hope that everyone is doing well. Recently I have been trading other commodities (primarily sugar), and I have not stopped by as much as before.

I have a quick question regarding silver coins. I have a dealer friend who can sell me 19th century 5-franc coins (France and Belgium) in VF condition for US$4.50 / coin, in lots of 100 coins. This appears to be an attractive price to buy in volume, so I ordered an initial lot of 300 coins to check the quality.

Does anyone know where I could get them at a better price? Or is this a highly attractive price level?

Thanks!

THC (Thomas)

Howdy, Searle!

How are things in SA? I'm still alive here in Japan!!

I recall many moons ago when I set to to trade futures......you warned that I would be decimated.....and as for my initial efforts to trade silver and gold......this was correct......but I switched over to "regular commodities".......and things went surprisingly well........I give thanks for my good fortune.......after a near complete wipeout, I came back to make 5X my initial investment in a little less than 3 years.

I believe this performance will not be repeatable, but I did want you to know that not all small specs get destroyed!

Wishing you the best,

THC
