Any idea how much it is to rent a Cessna for a few days?

You rent em by the time the engine is running. You can rent a 172RG(retracts)(5 years ago)for $70 an hour. Reserve it for a 4 day weekend.....fly to a location....say it takes 2.5 hours........spend all weekend there.......putt around a bit(1hr)......fly back......another 2.5 hours.......so maybe total of 6 hours on the HOBBS (engine hour meter) ....you pay $420 bucks. I remember wanting to get rated in the 182RG(same plane on MSFT Flt sim)it was $84 bucks an hour.

A lot of FBO's (Fixed base operators?)rent planes out for the owners, or their own planes. You usually have to join their "flying club" to rent em.
