Charles, It's been one month only as president. Say the word honeymoon five times. Give him a chance. It is a different style of leadership using one's appointees to make many of the decisions. But it is not uncommon. Also it is ridiculous to blame him for the recession. What else should he do besides pushing the tax cuts? What would Gore have done? Mike

"restart Daddy's war " Saddam is a clever man. He has massively upped his campaign of shooting at planes patrolling the no fly zone. The options for the US/UK were to stop the patrols or start losing flight crews. Saddam knew for sure what the response would be and wanted to stir up controversy. The likes of you are playing into his hands. What would you have done? Allowed your own airmen to die?
