Well, yes. You provided many good examples of character based palindromes.

However, those of us who are fully accredited Grubaholics Anonymous members are acutely aware that snagging a series of palindromic digits is far more satisfying than restating those tired old boring, ordinary, character based palindromes.

Let's face it. The thought of somebody staying up until the wee hours of the morning waiting for that magical moment when they could grub one of those awe-inspiring digital masterpieces makes those character based palindromes nothing but tired old cliches that get repeated time and time again. Where's the competitive spirit in that?

Then, consider the combination of a good palindrome grub with the world-wide recognition of the near perfection of the number 42, and ... well, what can I say. Nirvana is at hand. It just doesn't get much better than that.

Come on, Mike. Wake up and smell the digits.

I grub, therefore I am.
