Robert Reich the former labor secretary wrote in his book that the greatest threat to America was the entrepreneur. He reasoned that Big government should meet with Big business and decide what needs to be produced. In my view, that opinion should have made the front page of all the major newspapers. If that isn't out of the 1984/Brave New World genre I don't know what is. And someone tried to tell me that communism wasn't alive in this country. It had a full blown seat in La LA land.

I may only have a few braincells... but Reich's statement blows ervery last one of them.

Weirdest part for me is I have seen him in interviews and he seems to be quite intelligent. My sarcasm in the first bit of my post aside.. I am fairly smart myself. How can two reasonable people think so differently? Perhaps I should read his book. Time for a trip to the library. Haha I wouldn't buy it.

Here is a short list of (dangerous) entrepreneurs from our history:

Benjamin Franklin
Thomas Edison
Henry Ford
Wilber Wright
Orville Wright
Sam Walton
Bill Gates
Paul Allen
Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel
Walt Disney
Donald Trump
James J. Hill

and so on...

Where does shorty think 'Big Business' comes from in the first place?

BTW: Isn't writing a book nearly a purely entrepreneurial task? I guess anythign is excusable for the wise elite.

re: "Robert Reich the former labor secretary wrote in his book .."

Robert Reich wrote at least 5 books..... assuming you read the one you quoted would you please give it's title and hopefully a chapter or page number for your quote....
