John, There is a large market for people who want to do only 2-D apps, like E-mail, Internet and word processing. They also want a cheap computer which boots quickly and has a fast response time. Timna would have been ideal, except that it became too expensive due to one bad decision. The other problem was that the MHz would have dropped off the map too quickly. AMD is pushing the entry level MHz very hard, in an effort to eliminate all PIII products. Scumbria
