Richard,

He is our president. I choose to support him when he acts in the best interest of my country. You can choose to do the same or something else.

Your patriotism is a thing of beauty. Did it just appear in the last 6 weeks?

Scumbria

"I consider Bush's lie a little one."

Again, if that was the only one, then it would have been no big deal. But he distorts almost everything. He talks a lot about how important it is to protect individual property rights, but when he was with the Rangers he convinced the county to condemn land he wanted for a stadium. When the property owners then filed suit, he claimed that since the county was the entity that condemned the property, that is who should be sued. So I guess individual property rights are only important unless Smirk wants your land.

I went over some of the legislation in Texas that Smirk took credit for that he either actively opposed or was passed before he was governor. There is more than I actually pointed out, there was so much of that it is difficult to keep track. Bottom line, his whole career is based on his ability to lie his way out of situations, and having a powerful, well-connected daddy. Sure, he might turn out to be a good president, but the odds seems against it. I suspect that before too much longer, Bill will be looking mighty fine...
