Balancing the books is for future generations " ...is exactly what many of us feel, but only when read in a different way. And that's why we want it to happen now, in the form of a spending cut. Also by the way - I've hunted with a handgun for over 15 years, nothing beats it. You know why? Because you can holster it and walk through thick brush without scaring the game off, as opposed to rattling around with a rifle or shotgun. Makes sense when you think about it in a practical way, eh? Now go look up the word "practical". Make my own ammunition, too, gosh what a threat to society. I find it relaxing and satisfying to do for myself, both with hunting and maximising the humaneness of the kill. And yet, I've never once been tempted to plug anyone, even now, which is saying quite a bit judging from the fruits of your efforts. Aggie

Rick I have a question for you regards guns. Since the 60's the liberals have stated over and over how evil the military is. They have called the police pigs and racists. We all know what the criminals are like. We have also seen the millions killed by socialist governments. Are you saying then that only the pigs and corrupt and evil should hold the guns ? By the way I am a vegetarian and believe in Ahimsa but I have no problem with people owning guns. Perhaps you might suggest that we ban the camera to prevent child porn

The less fortunate do not want anything taken away from somebody else to be given to them because they are better than that. They want and deserve their own chance. <<3. Legitimate defenders of the Second Amendment know that to "plug someone" would change their life forever -- they would never be the same again. They would regret it to the bottom of their soul. Without them, Bill Clinton would have been lost. You see, Rich Fore Eagle, the objectives you promote are the very things conservatives want. They just know how to really get them.
