Gregory, Holiday projects and rapid refunds make the home centers busy this time of year. Some blue collar profit sharing (like automakers have) also help.

If you notice your local homecenter ads, they are featuring kitchen, bath, and other inside project themes that suck up lots of that refund money.

I wouldn't read too much into this. The average Home Depot does about $38-million in sales. They're going to be pretty busy on weekends year-round.
