Greg, I have 2 Home Depots near me. I sense an assignment coming up. One is real close so I will volunteer for "Greg's Fact Finding Mission" better known as PROJECT HD. How the h*ll we analyze the results however? I gave 3 reasosn before as to what it all could mean and they were all over the place. But here you go folks, If you have a HD near you, you are obliged to report within a week. My approach will be to ask a couple of clerks or dept heads how busy they have been. As an aside, I did happen to ask just before Christmas, no foolin, as I was trying guage just how bad things were. Sales were generally down, and I could tell without asking really because of # of registers open. HD is one of my favorite stores. M
