Nope - if so, Gateway or HP could have dumped Intel months ago and avoided the layoffs - right? Instead, HP and Gateway have both ACCELERATED their use of advertising using Intel associated television advertising. Nearly every HP and Gateway TV ad since Christmas feature the Intel Inside logo and jingle.
