*It's hard to trust an objective opinion from a site that is labeled "shortinterest.com".*

Shorting GX is pure suicide. It is one of a handful that I would be willing to put all of my money into for the next three years if I was forced to.

>Thanks for your accounting view of things. It helps us who aren't as keen on the terms<

You're welcome, and glad that you decided to join the SI community because of this thread. Like you, I've followed this thread for a while before buying the stock recently. There are many long term shareholders here who are very knowlegeable about the business case for owning this stock, and they have contributed and shared information in a remarkable way to keep everyone informed on the progress of the company. I'm not worried about the pullbacks we're experiencing now, which, imo, has little to do with the fundamental business of GX, and more to do with negative sentiment on the telecom sector and the overall bearish Nasdaq. In fact, I've been buying on several pullbacks, and I'm now trying not to get carried away since I'm already overweighted with this stock in my portfolio. Obviously, I find the stock very attractive at today's cheap price especially if we're proven right in that fiber pipelines will be the next hot sector, after the heydays of JDSU and GLW.

I also see it very favourable for the true longs if shortinterest.com has influenced more people to short this stock. They will be shorting an infrastructure company (takes billions to build fiber highways) with fast growing revenue, and a stock that is very cheap. The current bearish sentiment can change anytime for the fundamentals to take over. The shorts will be scurrying to cover their positions and some wouldn't until severe damage has taken place. I think this is what Robert meant when he said it is suicidal to short this stock.
