MDDC - Top-3 Largest Online Real Estate Network Selects MonsterDaata to Provide Neighborhood and Community Content MonsterDaata now serves Classified Ventures and HomeScape.com with powerful new content application

NEW YORK, Feb 20, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- MonsterDaata, Inc. (OTCBB:MDDC), an
Information Infrastructure Utility company, announced today that it has been
selected to power the community information feature at HomeScape.com,
(www.homescape.com), one of the top three largest real estate networks on the
Internet, which is owned by Classified Ventures, Inc.

Under the agreement, MonsterDaata will provide HomeScape.com's visitors with
comprehensive community information from its library of over 3.5 billion records
for over 220,000 distinct geographically bounded areas in the United States. Its
Neighborhood Place service will provide neighborhood profiles, crime,
environmental hazard, employment, cost of living, demographics, weather and a
variety of free information to HomeScape.com users.

"MonsterDaata's expansive database of neighborhood information should perfectly
compliment HomeScape.com's vast array of existing consumer-oriented real estate
listings and information," states Matt Wise, vice president and general manager
of HomeScape.com. "MonsterDaata's service will give our consumers more of the
information they need to identify and evaluate their selected communities."

HomeScape.com launched as the one-stop online destination for consumers seeking
to buy, sell, rent, move, and finance real estate. The creation of HomeScape.com
brings together some of the Internet's most successful Web sites, including
Apartments.com, NewHomeNetwork.com, and MovingCenter.com. HomeScape.com also
introduced HomeFinder.com, a newly launched Classified Ventures national resale
site that indexes more than 900,000 new and resale homes. According to May's
Media Metrix report, the consolidated traffic from HomeScape.com's member Web
sites places it among the top three largest real estate networks online today.

"We are really excited about working with HomeScape.com," says Samuel B.
Petteway, CEO of MonsterDaata. "HomeScape.com has realized continued success by
offering its users the kind of tangible information that makes their real estate
decisions easier. We believe that MonsterDaata will further enhance this overall
value for Classified Ventures' extensive family of newspaper clients."

In addition to its national sites, HomeScape.com will be featured on the Web
sites of 134 local market affiliates across the country, including eight of the
top ten newspapers' web sites, including the Chicago Tribune, Washington Post,
Los Angeles Times, Miami Herald, The New York Times and USA Today.
