carl:
it's an issue with VIA's chipset. Why pin it on DDR?
Gigabyte released a motherboard which doesn;t work with AGP4X video cards and Windows 2000 end of story. Kiss this particular Gigabyte DDR motherboard goodbye to motherboard heaven. Things move too quickly and efficently for fixes to this motherboard. There will be new motherboard literally next week.

. Sure, DDR is never gonna get here. Just keep thinking that,
When DDR suceeds and I will readily admit it is not a question of if, all I am saying it will be using a different Gigabyte board with different chipset then the GA-7DX.

Why didn't you include the conclusion of the article, where they noted that they eventually fixed the problem? ......
"Recently we obtained drivers that worked on our ASUS board."

Because the Gigabyte GA-7DX board is a DDR design and the the ASUS board is a SDRAM design from different company with different chipset. Talk about FUD carl
