``Step Into Liquid'' a Hit In Santa Barbara; Anticipated Film Sells Out; Adds Second Show in 2,000 Seat Venue

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 19, 2003--NV Entertainment, a wholly owned subsidiary of New Visual Corporation (OTCBB:NVEI), announced today that the company's showing of Dana Brown's "Step Into Liquid" received inordinate praise for the highly anticipated surf adventure film.

Earlier this month, the film was previewed at the historic Arlington Theater in Santa Barbara for the benefit of the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum. This 2,000+ seat historic play house and theater sold out in less than 10 days of tickets going on sale through the Arlington box office and TicketMaster online. This prompted the Maritime Museum organizer, Theresa Smith to add a second showing at 11 p.m., which also nearly sold out.

"This event was easily the largest surf event Santa Barbara has ever seen," said Smith. Given the advertising and anticipation of the film 2 1/2 years in the making, there was much riding on this special promotion. "I had heard the buzz about the next Brown film for quite a while and knew we had a good opportunity, but I had no idea how beautiful this film would be. Bruce and Dana really delivered far above what anyone could have imagined and we are extremely thankful to them and everyone at New Visual."

Smith wasn't the only one moved by the films high-performance yet emotionally connected content.

Legendary surfer and son of Endless Summer star, Sam August wrote: "Thank you New Visual for bringing to life what I think is the best surf movie I have ever seen."

After seeing the film prior to the NoDance Festival, Forrest Whitaker wrote:

"Although I had never surfed before, I found this film compelling not only because it transcends both surf and world cultures, but because it exposes what lies at the most primitive inner core of surfing, spirituality."

And, after the screening in Santa Barbara, surfing Magazine's Editor in Chief wrote:

"Brown not only makes every board-carrying member special in Step Into Liquid, he unifies them, saying, we're all just 'in it for the ride.' And the audience was right there with them on Saturday, cheering from takeoff to kickout. Brown did a fantastic job of stringing it all together with witty narration, smooth transitions and colorful commentary from an entire spectrum of waveriders." The Santa Barbara benefit screening follows the NoDance Film festival in New Visual efforts to market the film for theatrical distribution. Favorable reviews and positive "buzz" have begun to stir interest of several film distributors and the company now is reviewing a host of offers for US and foreign theatrical release, as well as, ancillary market offers for home video/DVD, cable, and television. The company is in the process of seeking the right US distribution partner in an effort to assure a wider audience for other "Step Into Liquid" markets.
