You know what stock I like, and would buy if it went down a bit is CAKE. I generally HATE retail stocks and hate resteraunt stocks even more. I really believe CAKE will be the next HUGE franchise built across the country. With only 34 stores, all of which do Incredibly well the growth potential for new stores is imense. They could easily build 300-500 resteraunts without canibilizing themselves. I like the hedge of going long CAKE and shorting SBUX/KREM/GAP all three of which are way over valued and over built.

true. one purpose of the credit expansion was to eliminate the federal govt. deficit - however, it will turn out to have been a short term fix.
