Dr Bob, the reason why I believe we will not have a sustained rally before the fall is because the large companies are already hinting at continued weakness persisting till year's end. Based upon the "market's six-months' anticipation" phenomenon, an incipient rally's earliest start would occur in June and I do not feel a rally will be sustained into the fall. Perhaps since our current seasonally favorable period has been wiped out, we also could see a reversal for this year's poor seasonal money flows as well. Guess we'll have to wait and see. What factors make you feel a rally will begin in April or thereabouts?
