Mark K.: I may be crazy, but I was buying tech stocks in the midst of the panic selling. We may well hit 2200-2250 range, but I think that selective tech buys will eventually be profitable.

I did NOT chase the large cap, richly valued stocks such as JDSU, AMCC, BRCD, JNPR, etc. that are STILL in the process of having their multiples contract. I focused on chip stocks and software stocks with compelling valuations and good products. I took partial positions in: AREM, LCRY, CYMI, LOR, MANH, TER, and PRIA. Of course, by the end of the day, I was down in all of them. However, I think their downside is limited at this point.

Stocks on my watch list which are rapidly coming into my buying range are: IRF, IDTI, ELNT, NVLS. One final thought:
CANI is WAY oversold and looks good at $17 and change. Suggest looking at this one carefully.
