I wish I was zero margin right now, but mr. market hasnt cooperated as of yet...at least I am sticking to my guns with my peronal 20% limit....and actually, after losing the last of my ssti at 12 today, I could clear out remaining margin by simply writing a check off one of my credit cards.....I wont do that unless necessary, but at least i can hold sunw and jdsu and qcom, and wait out this nasty market, and if necessary, cover margin without selling......although I dont think it is wise to clear margin by using your credit card, at this level, I would recommend it. If sunw was at $100, I would say sell the damned stock, but if sunw hits $10....jdsu hits $15...I would not sell the stock, I would cover margin with credit card, and keep my quality for the long term, hopeful, eventual rebound.......
