Ed,
I have tried all these things... There is nothing to important that I can not afford to lose. Except a few documents and tax files... The computer is only about three months old I am resigned to reload windows (BTW do I need to clear the hard drive or will the reload do it for me) Then I will Partition my hardrive (I Have 40 Gig I assume that is sufficient)Set up an image system as I have seen described here to keep this from happening again, (I could be the poster child for their software). AAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!
Thanks
Steve
