they won't do that...Congress won't allow it. besides, once the first CB succumbs to the siren song of monetization of bad private debt, it will turn out to be a huge blunder, bringing on an unprecedented confidence crisis.
it simply won't work. it would be much better to leave things alone, and let the economy go through the corrective process unhindered, however painful it may be in the ST.
but the hubris of our policy-makers (something we really don't need: policy-makers)will see to it that all the wrong decisions are taken, and in the end, like Bugos says, they'll blame capitalism, not their socialistic interference.
