DRBES: The last 4 to 5 weeks for INTC will determine whether or not any capital gains will be available to prop up revenues and earnings this quarter as has been the case for the past 4 quarters...For capital gains to be available, the Nas will need to move up considerably... Fortunately, AMD is not faced with the constraint of having to rely on capital gains to buoy up performance as owing to the success of the Athy (price/performance advantage)and its derivatives, AMD's performance will weather the current storm fairly well...At some point, AMD will be rewarded for performing at such a high level as to be able to sail forward even in periods of ill winds...
