Many participants on this thread have used Partition Magic without difficulty. The graphical representation of this program makes it easy to picture what changes will take place and to decide on a configuration that suits your needs.

I'm assuming that your concerned about PM making a mess. If it's about how you're using PM, post your questions and those with experience will try to answer.

doniam, I've used PM to create and change the size of partitions and it was easy and painless. All my data survived, too. FWIW. It was PM v4.
