You are starting to sound like the journalists. Yes they did cut one price 42%, but the average price cut was far below that.

And those are "list" prices, every reseller buys at a discount to those prices. Supply/Demand will dictate what prices/margins will be from/for the resellers. Pricewatch prices doesn't mean that Intel has lower it's selling price, just that the reseller has.
