However, I am rather pissed that after the bell today stories started circulating about Broadcom paying off customers with warrants to purchase discounted BRCM stock, instead of lowering the prices on the components they were trying to sell in a cutthroat environment. Herb Greenberg is all over this developing story- and since Broadcom hasnt issued any formal denial it's probably true.. And it makes Broadcoms balance sheet look a hell of a lot worse than what their accountants have been showing us for the last year in their earnings statements.
