Mark, in Dec 1999 I declared on this thread Amzn was going to be dead money. I just didn't think it would be that dead!

James,

I have to say I did. AMZN stock may bounce at some point before now and next fall but the company will fold this fall. If the vendors are lenient, they will be able to operate through Q4 but when payables come due in Janauary 2002, many vendors will not be paid. The only solution is a cash inflow and I really admit the market doing that for them has always amazed me so I am making no predictions.

I read the full cash flow analysis the other night when I had constant diarrhea. The report was HB's rebuttal to Suria but the one in far more detail for the institutions. I really was sick but the reading was interesting in trying to make a positive case as to cash flow. He never mentioned it but he had a revenue growth rate in the numbers of 42% year over year. He also had a 3% increase in gross margins and an increase in fulfillment cost efficiency. He showed no interest payments but did show interest acrruing but it was not a cash flow item. I thought the bonds received an interest payment every six months. The spreadsheet went out to the end of 2002 with still no interest payment.

You stated you owned some of their bonds. If Blodget's model has any accuracy, how do you receive your 42% or whatever interest return? I would think if you do not get your interest you or your Attorney might give bezos a call. Thoughts?

Glenn
