Interesting suggestion.

I had the need for an inexpensive metal detector. The mall has KBToy stores, yet they don't carry such an item. The internet version of KBToys, KBKids.com does. The internet version offers greater variety, at a slight delay due to shipping.

I'm not ready to write off the malls, and their social aspects, but it's clear to me that the internet provides a greater variety, and sometimes, better pricing.
