It is customary on these threads to identify sources, and, usually,to give the URL, so that others may evaluate what has been posted. Incidentally, the article is wrong in its essential premise: the fact that espionage had occurred in prior administrations was widely reported. The scandalous elements had to do with Clinton's failure to react to reports of security problems and espionage in 1995; the appearance of using several channels for laundering illegal foreign campaign contribution from China; and the relaxation of export controls, to make the acquisition of certain technologies easier, and provide the key to the use of earlier acquisitions.......
