It was a nice surprise not only for what it said, and the inclusion of posts of mine I'd forgotten about years ago (I do remember I was long OLPV around that time, only to have it do an unannounced reverse split the next day, which led to a long period of amazement/amusement at a large group who were convinced it was a wonderful company), but also for seeing that you're actually still around. We hadn't crossed paths/swords in quite a while. :) Everyone, I asked (Jeff) to delete my pair of posts from last night, and it appears he is in the process of doing so (Thanks, (Jeff)). The reason I asked him to do so is that on further reflection, I felt it was inappropriate for me to express too much of my own opinion, especially since my posts tend to be so long-winded that I forget to include the many necessary "IMOs" or "based on publicly available documents", which I worry could lead someone to make an investment decision based on a belief I'd slipped up and given solid inside info; which the posts didn't do. They just didn't "qualify" the opinions enough. You can't disclose what you don't know, and being such a remote employee, I rarely knew anything beyond my own job. Heck, I finally found out on the day I was let go just who my boss had been for the past couple of years. <g> Long-winded? I just noticed that a "parenthetical aside" in this post could've been a paragraph by itself. <g> Anyway, my outlook for this company and stock is decidedly negative. To the extent that I don't see any potential positive occurring for at least 6 months, if then. But I could be wrong. After all, I bought OLPV the day before a reverse split many moons ago. For those who don't know, that company later became a rather infamous scandal under the ticker RMIL. (Parenthetical aside: Betcha that "disclosure" will cause a lot of speculation on RB about me, despite the fact I gave that disclosure years ago -- Some people don't remember anything in the past if it conflicts with their beliefs or theories) Speaking of buying cheap stocks, I used to play the pennies quite a bit, and with some very good results (notably FTEL and SYCR -- I was in and out at the right times), but the burns I got were because of a lack of solid info. I hope (expect) that to change someday. But because of my role here, I got completely out of penny stocks when I started doing this job as a part-time contractor and stayed out. Well, until my employer became one. <g> Later it became a job requirement that I couldn't be involved in any stocks with active threads here, which limited my universe, but made my discipline and research skills a lot better. Still, do you have any idea how boring it is week-trading Sempra Energy for years? Profitable, but boring. Glad I can get serious again. Again, Thanks, (Jeff), for zapping those posts for me. Bob
