Darvis' was the fist book I read about stocks...as a teenager...and I recently re-read it last year.

The method is very similar to a 3-price break system. And the stocks are basically bottom reversal patterns on volume. Both are very sound technical keys.

Seems to me that I read some time ago that Darvas went broke twice in his lifetime. And... died broke. Not real positive about this, but do recall something like it. He wrote a later book on his "box" methods, but don't think it did very well. Nothing like his first book.

Yes, I have read it. I actually have read all his books. I have used a variation of his "system" for my trading, and have thought of a number of others that might work as well. I think his system would still work well now also. The key would be to identify the type of market environment and only use the system in a strong bull market. If you have any other questions, I will try to answer them the best I can.
