Mike, I think the wait for recovery is going to be longer than 6 months. I personally see several new signs of inflation: increased slip rent for the boat, cigars up 40%, my energy bill. AMAT: assume VLSI Research is correct and revenues for 2001 will be flat with 2000. Earnings will be lower because of charges and earnings growth will be negative then. You know how the $treet feels about that. So why are they grabbing the stock today? Jerome's call writing strategy looks better all the time. Gottfried
