This is absolutely the truth ...because prices were not as volatile...

I've done a lot of Gann homework. His was an interesting approach, also in a much different environment. Gann died in 1955 and never saw a DJIA above 500. To be effective with his methods today one must apply a generous amount of "Kentucky Windage". I think his work with "time" probably still has merit. Much more so than his "price" work. Although, it's difficult to separate the two.
