Your best hope is they will lower it at the unemployment report next week, especially if they have knowledge that it will be extremely poor. Fortunately, most of the layoffs announced thus far are spread out over 6 months to 3 years, the latter in the case of the auto mfrs. The Fed is currently forecasting 0.8% GDP growth for Q1 thus far.
